Make a delightful homemade cranberry sauce from scratch using whole cranberries and only a few ingredients! A must-have, traditional addition for your upcoming holiday dinners.
Combine sugars, Sugar Momma, water, and orange juice in a medium-sized saucepan on medium heat. Stir occasionally until sugars dissolve, then bring the mixture to a boil.
Once boiling, add cranberries and return the mixture to a boil.
Lower the heat to a simmer and continue cooking the cranberries, occasionally stirring, for 10-15 minutes or until most berries burst (be cautious of splattering) and the mixture slightly reduces. Note: The longer the cranberries cook, the thicker the mixture, and it will further thicken upon cooling.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and let it cool for at least 20 minutes at room temperature.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours before serving.
