These easy smash burger sliders are quick, crispy, and built for a hot griddle. Haaaaam-Burger, our burger and fry seasoning, gives the beef a classic savory flavor while the thin patties get crisp around the edges. Add brioche rolls, cheese, pickles, or whatever toppings you like, and dinner comes together fast.
Smash burger sliders are one of those meals you make once and keep coming back to. They cook fast, don’t require much prep, and feel a little more fun than a typical burger night.
You can also switch things up depending on the flavor you’re after. Try Divine Bovine for a more herb-forward, steakhouse-style profile, or Boudreaux T’s for a smoky Cajun twist. The OG keeps things simple with salt, garlic, and pepper, while It’s Greek To Me brings in more Mediterranean-style flavor.
When it comes to toppings, think of this like a build-your-own situation. Go classic with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and cheese… or mix it up with banana peppers, BBQ sauce, and bacon crumbles for something a little bolder. You could even throw on caramelized onions, a fried egg, or a quick garlic aioli if you’re feeling it. And if you’ve got kids around, this is usually a win – smaller portions, easy to eat, and you can let them pick their own toppings. It turns dinner into something a little more interactive… and a lot more fun.

Easy Smash Burger Sliders
Quick smash burger sliders made with seasoned ground beef, soft brioche rolls, and your favorite toppings. Crisp edges, juicy centers, and ready fast!
Ingredients
- 1 lb grass-fed ground beef
- 8–10 small brioche rolls
- Hamburger Seasoning (HAAAAAM-Burger)
- Divine Bovine Seasoning (optional)
- Toppings of choice: lettuce, tomato, pickles, banana peppers, BBQ sauce, cheese, bacon crumbles, onions, etc.
Instructions
- Start by dividing your ground beef into slightly larger-than-golf-ball portions. Don’t pack them too tight – keep them loose so they smash well.
- Pour your seasoning onto a plate. Roll each meatball in the seasoning so the outside is fully coated.
- No need to knead it into the meat… just coat the outside and you’re good.

- Heat up a flat top grill or large pan over medium-high heat.
- Place the seasoned meatballs onto the hot surface. Using a burger press or a wide metal spatula, press each one down firmly into a thin patty.

- Let them cook undisturbed for about 2 minutes, until the edges start to crisp up.
- Flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes until done.
- While the burgers cook, slice your brioche rolls and toast them cut-side down on the grill until lightly golden.
- Assemble your sliders with your favorite toppings… keep it classic or pile it up.

- That’s it. Quick, crispy, and hard to mess up. Enjoy!

Tips for better smash burger sliders
Use high heat – A hot griddle or cast iron pan helps create those crispy edges that make smash burgers stand out.
Don’t overwork the meat – Lightly portion the beef and avoid packing it too tight so it stays tender.
Smash once, early – Press the burger down right after it hits the pan, then leave it alone so it develops a crust.
Season at the right time – Add seasoning just before or right after smashing so it sticks and cooks into the surface.
Flip once – Let the first side cook fully before flipping to keep the crust intact.
Toast the buns – A quick toast adds texture and keeps the sliders from getting soggy.
