Some party snacks just vanish the moment you set them down, and this one has that energy. It looks like one of those gourmet cheese-board stars, but it’s honestly the quickest thing you’ll make all week. A lot of people even use it as a fake goat cheese log – same fancy vibe, none of the strong goat flavor that some guests shy away from. It’s creamy, herby, and ridiculously simple… the kind of finger food you can pull together in minutes and still feel like you brought something everyone will crowd around.

And the best part… it fits anywhere. Holiday parties, book club nights, backyard dinners — whatever the gathering is, this little log settles right in. You don’t have to babysit it, you don’t have to warm it, and you definitely don’t need a stack of ingredients. Just set it out with some crostinis and let it do what it does best.
Ingredients
- 1 block of cream cheese
-
The Godfather seasoning
- 1 sheet of baking parchment
- Crostinis, crackers, or sliced baguette for serving
Directions
- Lay out your sheet of baking paper on the counter.
- Sprinkle a generous, even layer of The Godfather seasoning down the center — about the size of the cream cheese block.
- Place the cream cheese directly on top of the seasoning.
- Gently roll the cream cheese in the seasoning using the baking paper to help guide it, kind of like you’re rolling sushi but with much lower stakes.
- Keep rolling until the entire block is coated in that garlicky, herby goodness.
- Transfer to a serving plate and add crostinis or crackers around it.
- That’s it. No mixing, no chill time, nothing fancy — just a ridiculously tasty little log that always earns its name.
